NAD+ Injection Side Effects & What to Expect

Overview

NAD+ Injection is generally well-tolerated. Most side effects are mild and related to the injection site itself.

Common Side Effects

• Irritation at the injection site: The most common side effect. You may notice redness, itching, or minor discomfort where you injected.

Less Common Side Effects

• Fatigue
• Headaches
• Stomach discomfort
• Tingling sensation

How to Manage Side Effects

If you experience irritation at your injection site:

• Change the placement on your body (rotate between arms, abdomen, and flank)
• Use injections less frequently
• Apply an over-the-counter itch cream (preferably one with hydrocortisone)
• If irritation continues, contact your prescriber to discuss your options

What About Solution Color?

NAD+ injection solution is generally clear. You may occasionally notice color variation, which is normal:

• Clear: Normal — ready to use
• Slightly yellow or gold: Still good and safe to use. This can be due to a slight variation in pH.
• Dark brown: Do not use. Contact AgelessRx so we can share this with the partnering pharmacy for further support.

When to Contact Your Prescriber

Reach out to your prescriber if you experience:

• Persistent or worsening irritation
• Side effects that don’t improve with dose or site adjustment
• Any unexpected symptoms
